Compocity Ltd. is a sustainability service startup since 2020, which supports circular economy challenges in urban environments with a smart composting robot.
Compocity has created a real ecosystem: CompoBot, the composting chef, uses a microorganism cocktail to create compost that can be layered into the ground within two weeks. This is completed by the gamified mobile application, which allows office communities to track their impact. All of this has community-building and educational power, but the collected data can also support the sustainability efforts of small and large companies. In addition, the service also includes the utilization of the resulting compost.
In the second round of capital raising, the Climate Protection Venture Capital Fund, Tamás Morvai, as a private person, and Prímaenergia, which also participated in the first round, invested a total of HUF 130 million. The investment will be used to develop the product of the 2nd generation device, enter the market and build the professional team.
