Water4all Zrt. was founded in January 2021. The main goal is the increasing recyclability of materials generated in the field of wastewater treatment and extracting valuable raw materials in accordance with sustainability and circular economy. In close connection with this, the other target area is the increase of energy production and the increase of energy efficiency in the already existing wastewater treatment facilities. The main tasks and activities:
- possibilities of further use of purified wastewater and sewage sludge in energy plantations/in other plant cultivation for industrial purposes
- energy efficiency modernization of wastewater treatment systems
- biomass-based energy production based on sewage sludge and/or food and/or agricultural organic side-products, using biogas or biomethane
- removal of chemical residues (medicines, microplastics) from treated wastewater for recycling and to protect the quality of our living waters
- creation of relationship synergy between industrial, municipal (urban and residential) and agricultural actors for the purpose of biomass-based renewable energy production and the production of soil improvement materials
The financial investments of Water Impact Fund in 2021 and 2022 supported ther foreign activity, and increasing export opportunities in the fields of industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, sludge treatment, and the establishment and operation of biogas plants, and also contributed to marketing of ongoing R&D results.
